He was born in Jump city.....By a woman vampire. He is a pure blooded vamp.....his mother was killed by humans who did not understand the race......He met Steph at a very young age. And they have been friends and have been there for each other ever since......Marlik was own his own until he met the coven that Steph lives with...and he at once fit right into the family.....He was near death when Steph rescued him....and she nurished him back to health...he has no memory of his mother or who killed her......

Marlik is what you call a quiet vampire. He keeps to the shaodws allot. He is scared to meet other humans....But if he sees that there might be a chance of trust then he'll take it...He can spot a bad vampire by the scent of their blood.....He does have an attitude problem...but never gets upset with Steph....She's like a sister to him.....
